Highlights of Mela-A’s Accomplishments:

  • Participated in the 5 mile stride for cancer walk-a thon during cancer awareness week for two consecutive years 2007 and 2008.

  • Success of Mela-A’s 1 st and 2nd annual retreats in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and Tallahassee, Florida.

  • Distributed cancer awareness books--- “Breast Cancer and its Spiritual Connection” to cancer survivors and their families.

  • Donated fund raiser money to the American Cancer Society.

  • Prayed for and ministered to members on the Monday night teleconference calls.

  • Distribute money to Mela-As members during financial hardship.

  • Honored on-line prayer request.

Fasting
